Many people call Yeshua “Jesus” because we have been taught that way, and we have heard the name Jesus more often than Yeshua. It wasn’t until the past decade, that the name Yeshua became popular among many believers. There are many people who still don’t know the name Yeshua because it is still new to them. Many people think that Yeshua is a new name, but it’s not. Yeshua was first and originally a Hebrew name given to Mary by the angel Gabriel. We are not changing His name, rather, we are going back to His Hebrew name and restoring Yeshua’s Jewish culture.
